PROJECTS
Women of Zion's object are to empower women. We have gathered several groups of women who have started various projects that give hope and dignity to disadvantaged Christians through income generation so as to eradicate poverty and idleness. These groups are engaged in the following projects:-
- Chicken rearing and selling eggs
- Growing different types of fruits
- Making fresh juices
- Bee keeping
- Growing Amaranth
- Making beaded chains, earrings, belts and sandals
- Drying vegetables
- Making peanut butter
- Making and selling multi-purpose liquid soap
- Others save with an intention of buying land in the future through the saving programme introduced by the Ministry to them.
TYPES OF JUICES THAT WE MAKE
TRAININGS
Women of Zion Ministries will also organize training for groups e.g. like train groups on how to grow amaranth, rear chicken, bee keeping proper finance management, etc. The trainings are organized and held at a convenient venue for all.
MARKETING:
Women of Zion Ministries will also assists to find market for the products of these projects by placing the products on the website and marketing direct to the final consumers.
CATERING SERVICES
In order to ensure that the ministry has enough funds to run and support women empowerment programmes, the organization has plans to encage in money generating activities in which they offer services to the community at an affordable fee.
It's in the heart of Women of Zion Ministries to do much to a big community through women, but financial limits have limited our expansion and productivity. We therefore do kindly request for help to enhance furtherance of this good work. Volunteers and other donors are also welcome to join us from around the world.
